For yet another year, the facilities of the Real Club Náutico de Palma have been the setting for the celebration of the Copa del Rey Mapfre de Vela, this being its 41st edition. The El Náutico restaurant of the Tast Culinary Projects group was once again the nerve centre of the event, where the traditional daily brunch was held, offered on this occasion by Puro Beach, welcoming a multitude of guests from the brands and sponsors, personalities and accredited professionals, as well as hosting meals and tastings for different companies and groups in its private rooms.
As could not be otherwise, the social event that concentrated all the media interest was once again the traditional Shipowners’ Cocktail Party on the terraces of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, where some 600 attendees, dressed in rigorous white, were able to sample a host of exquisite products – Mallorcan sobrassada, Iberian ham, oysters, Angus beef brochettes or lamb Kofta, among others – while the evening was enlivened by live musical performances and a staging with a stage set featuring Angus beef or lamb Kofta, among others, Iberian ham, oysters, Angus beef brochettes and lamb Kofta, among others, while the evening was enlivened with live musical performances and a staging with a sound and light show to match the category of the event.
